Rental Policies
Before you book your trip, you understand and agree to all that is listed below. You have read this agreement, FAQS, rules, what’s included, expected by you and have reached out to us with any lingering questions or concerns prior to making a reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Once your booking is confirmed, you can cancel within 48 hours for a full refund, as long as at least 14 days remain before departure. Otherwise, the cancellation policy is strict.
If you cancel more than 14 days before your trip begins: 50% of the booking total is refundable (you pay 50%)
Cancel 14 or fewer days before your trip begins: 0% of the booking total is refundable (you pay 100%)
The Square fees that we incur for processing the payment and then refunding for a cancellation are NOT refundable in any situation.

We ask and expect you to follow the rules of our van at all times. Not only is this a van that we are happy to offer for you and many others to enjoy, but we also use this van for our own personal trips and experiences.
NO Smoking of ANY kind
Absolutely, no smoking of any kind. Cigarettes, marijuana, vaping, e-cigarettes, etc. None of it. Don’t do it.
NO extra guests
Our fees only accommodate 2-3 people. Please respect the space and capacity.
NO Music Festivals/Concerts
In an effort to keep our rig safe, clean, and respected, please do not take this van to any music festivals or concerts.
Wear your seatbelt when driving
All passengers must be belted while the vehicle is in motion. We are not responsible for any injuries that occur from renter negligence.
NO speeding
Obey all traffic signs and speeds at ALL times. You are driving property that is not yours with a plate that is not yours, respect that. You will be responsible for any and all tickets/citations.
NO illegal substances or underage use of legal substances
Absolutely no illegal substances, underage use of any legal substances.
NO getting onto the roof
This roof is not meant for lounging and there should be no roof access or attempts.
Be respectful of what you cook
We all know that some food can have a strong and lingering smell long after it is cooked. Out of respect for the next renters and hosts, please cook all strong smelling food outside of the rig during your stay. For Example: Bacon, Fish, Sauerkraut, etc.
Be respectful of the space
This space is special. We expect you to take care of the build and maintain a clean, damage free stay. Clean up after yourself and your pets, wipe up any spills immediately, and do your best to keep the space tidy.
NO electric heaters/air conditioners
These can be very dangerous and power consuming for a Campervan. If you need heat, it is best to use our built in heater and if you need to cool down, it is best to get a good airflow and park in the shade if possible.
You MUST contact us at the time of any and all incidents or accidents.
Failure to contact us immediately after any and all incidents or accidents will result in an automatic $500 fine on top of any and all damage repairs.
As the renter, you are responsible for the upkeep and damage control of the vehicle under your possession. It is your responsibility to make sure that all rules are being followed and any required maintenance during the trip is being done.
Our check in and check out times are firm unless you have checked with us first and are purchasing the early pick up or late drop off fees. Without the prior communication with us and purchasing of these fees, an early pick up and late drop off are subject to cost more than the available fees.
You are required to purchase additional insurance through MBA Motorhome and the purchasing instructions will be in your rental confirmation form. This purchase is an extension of our existing policy for you and your trip. This covers the exterior damage to the vehicle and interior damage IF the exterior damage is what caused the interior damage. Interior damage is covered by the security deposit. Our deductible is set at $1,000 and if a claim is to be filed, the renter will be responsible for this deductible.
The security deposit is $850. This will be charged if returned with damages to the card on file and on the authorized form signed by you prior to your trip. Any and all interior damages are subject to this security deposit. It is our discretion to how much of the deposit is charged and you will receive an invoice stating what damages have been done and repairs are needed. If the vehicle returns with no damages, you will not be charged the security deposit.
You also agree when booking that you hold harmless Simple Touch Designs, LLC dba Safe and Sonder Vans, its owners and employees, and the owners and employees of the vehicles. We are not responsible for theft, damage or loss to or of your personal property, personal injury, or death. You agree to conduct yourself in a aware and respectful manner and to abide by these rental agreements when renting one of our vehicles.
