At Safe + Sonder Vans, we pride ourselves on being passionate about each van that we produce. With our background in woodworking and designing custom furniture, we know what it takes to create a one of a kind build.

It's clear that we pay attention to every detail, big or small, by putting the necessary time and effort into every aspect of the build. We aspire to make it a desirable home on wheels for our clients. We do our best to make every interaction with us feel personable. We absolutely love what we do and we truly think of every client and friend in this business as family! No, really. We do.

Honestly, disappointment is not an option for us. It is our mission to make your home, weekender, or road-tripper exactly what you're imagining for your van. Whether it is adding a doggy nook, a cat cave, or any other personal touches that make your van yours. We know this is a big step closer to your dream of exploring the country and we are here to make the next step a smooth transition!

Meet Alli + Lizzie!

We are the team that completes Safe + Sonder Vans. That’s right, just the two of us! We cover everything from the building, designing and the communications. There is no denying that we are both incredibly passionate about what we do, the vans we build, and the people that we meet.

Owner, Communications/Social Media Expert, and Most Likely to Be Distracted by Shop Dogs
If you’re e-mailing, texting, messaging, etc., you’re talking to Alli! She does all of the communications “behind-the-scenes” work. But that’s not all! She builds, lays the flooring, paints, installs fixtures, completes the power system, van decals and whatever else needs to be done!
When she isn’t at the shop, on the road searching for new vans, or making a reel, you can find her binge watching dating shows, trail riding in her jeep “Hank the Tank”, snuggling with either of her fur babies, or on a road trip to a waterfall!

Owner, Master Builder, and Optimistic Guru
The meticulous cabinetry that you see? Yeah, she built that! Lizzie is the mastermind of all construction, electrical, plumbing, anything that involves incredible and logical thinking, she has it handled! She is always a glass half full kind of human and never afraid to take a risk.
When she isn’t at the shop, you can find her wherever Alli is. JK, but really, she enjoys trail riding, hiking, being with her dogs, Home Goods and long road trips!
